2022In 1991, as Saddam Hussein launches missiles at Israel, a civil defense siren compels a mother, daughter, pregnant granddaughter, and their awkward religious neighbor to take refuge together in a safe room for several tense hours. Trapped in close quarters, they are forced to confront the fears and anxieties their daily lives had kept buried.
The film explores the intricate dynamics of mother-daughter relationships, the challenges of single parenthood, and the generational divide, all while offering a sardonic reflection on the absurdities of wartime routines.
